Flax Again.
- ♦ *- Mr Hitchcock, a gentleman from Christchurch, has just called in the district, and from his fellow traveller — Mt Coe — we learn that he has stated that the objtct of his visit is the purchase flax up to 2000 tons. He will be here to-morrow, having stopped at Mr Gardner's this day. He is prepared to advauce £15 on flax produced equal to samples he holds. He is inclined to lease a mill or two also. This is exceedingly satisfactory, and we trust to bo able to report more fully next issue. We are obliged to Mr Coe for so promptly letting the public know.
