Manila— none offered, and privately our market is dull, the prices realised for New Zealand were irregular, and tended in favour of buyers, and the small quantity of Mauritius offered Avas nearly all bought in holders not being inclined to accept lower rates, East India, description continues neglected, and difficult of -sale. Manila quotations, ci.f. terms- to arrive fair current £-14 good ditto £45 to £45 lQs seconds £41 to £42. Sisal—good to .fine £43 to £44— The Goods catalogued were : — Mauritius— Of 210 bales offered, 40 bales sold. Enterprise— fair- white part dull paleyellowish, rather towy, part sold before the sale at £B 5 5a remainder taken out at £35, 10;. B.U «V Co., Louudres — good fair white* fairly dressed, but short staple,— £3s sb. Quotations— lauded terms good to linesoft well dressed £36 10s to £38 fair to> iiooa. average quality £34 10s to £35 10s failditto £32, to £33 Ids common £28 10s. New Zealand— of 1093 bales, offered 503: bales were not landed in time, of the remaining portion, k 2'2\\ bales were sold. Quotations — landed terras, superior soft bright clean £33 10s to £37 10s good well dressed £33, to £34 10s fair to good medium, £28 to £31 10s, common £20 to £24 per ton. New Zealand Tow— of 120 bales catalogued, 51 bales were not landed in time, th remainder sold, chietiy subject, no Markfair colour rather strawy, £0.
