FOXTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
A meeting of tho above Committee was held at Mr Thynne'a office yesterday. Present — Messrs Thynue (Chairman), Burgess, and Gray. The iii wards correspondence was read, and the follow ing resolutions were passed :- 1. Proposed by Mr Oray, seconded by Mr Burgess, and canied, *• That no one but members of the Committee be allowed to attend the examination of the Koxton School." '■i. Proposed by Mr Gray, seconded by Mr Thynne, " That seeing the position this Committee is in for want of funds for necessary expenses, it be resolved that tho Muster request the parents of the scholars to contribute the aura of 6d per b.3ad per quarter, to commence at the beginning of next year, and that the Master ieport the result of his applications to the Committee within a month." There being no further business to be transacted, the Committee adjourned.
