CTAKI SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
w The Committee met on Tuesday, Julyl. Present — Messrs. W. H. Simcox (Chairman), M. Carkeek,W. Jenkins, A. J. Hadfield, and Rev. J. M'William. The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. Letter read from the Board of Education at Wanganui, re erection of schoolhouse. Plan and specifica tion of proposed building were produced for consideration. Resolved, on motion of Mr Carkeek, seconded by Mr Jenkins, " That the plan submitted by the Board be approved, and that tenders be at. once called-for for the erection of a building in accordance with plan and specification." The next meeting of the Committee will be held on Saturday 26th inst., at 7 p.m.
