Quotations for imported goods remain nominally at our last month's rates, but great concessions would in many cases be made to effect a cash sale. In colonial produce, prices remain comparatively stationary, witu no business to any amount beyond the. actual wants of the retail trade, jiutter is quoted at lid per lb fer best guaranteed qualify for shipment. Canterbury cheese continues low in stook, and is selling at B|d to B£d per lb' Flour, unaltered in vulue, remains dull at £9 to £9 10s per ton, according to quality. Grain remains at last week's rates ; oats, Us to 3s ad ; wheat, 4s to 4s 3d ; maize, 5s to 5a 3d per bushel ; potatoes, fair stocks in dealers' hands, at £5 to £5 5s per tonbags, Is each.— N. Z.
