Chbistchubch, Friday. A fair amount of business has been done in wheat during the week. For fair average samples prices range from 3s Id to 3s 4d ; choice milling and seed samples readily saleable at 3a 5d ,'and 3s 6d respectively. Several large saks for export are reported, but the price has not transpired. Flour continues in fair request at late rates, say £8 to £8 ss. The demand is not so keen as millers would like. Oats continue depressed, and sales are difficult to eff^t. Buyers' quotations are unaltered, feed being worth 2s sd, and milling 2s 7d. Several thousand bushels have sold at 2s 3d at a southern port. Barley is in good request. Prime samples are readily sold at 5s 3d to 5s 6d. Holders are making a move to reduce .stooka in view of considerable shipments from San Francisco to Melbourne.
