ASSESSMENT COURT.

(Before R. TiVard, Esq., E.M.) Wednesday, March 12.

A sitting of this Court was held on th c above date for the purpose of hearing 1 objections to the Foxton Local Board Valuation list.

The Clerk of the Board (Mr W. Gh Robinson) having testified to the appointment of W. Moinet as valuator.

The Bench asked Mr Moinet the valuer to the Board if he had made the usual declaration prior to making the list, when he replied in the vogativ*. His Worship then said he must rule that no valuation had been made in terms of the Act, and that a fresh one would have to be made. He therefore appointed Mr Moinet, to make a valuation uuder tho Act.

The Court then dosed,
