THE WAISTIJNE QUESTION During a. between-seasons periocl of fashion indecision, dress designers abroad are experimenting with the position of the waistline. That deplorable, shapeless, lowwaisted style of the twenties made j its appearance in • several 1951-52 ! winter collections, but it is to be ! hoped that designers will leave women's waistline where nature intended it to be and plan other changes comments a fashion writer.
