Mr and Mrs J. C. Irving are visit- ! ing Wellington. Mrs Hall, Sen., of Wellington, has been visitmg Mr and Mrs Peter Hall, "The Haldons." Miss Margaret Cameron, of Oamaru, is visiting her sister, Mrs F. N. Burry. Mrs R. Reid, of England, has been visiting Mr and Mrs Simon Scrope at Grassmere. Mr and Mrs Terry Watts, who have been living in England for the past three years, have left on their return to Blenheim. Mrs H. Shallard, who, with her children, has been spending a holiday in the Bounds, is now visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs G. H. Andrew, before returning to Christchurch. Wren Vivienne Dick, of H.M.S. Philomel, Devonport, who has been visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs A. J. Dick, Maxwell Road, has returned to duty. Miss Dick joined the New Zealand ;Navy last September. Mr and Mrs Seymour Richmond, of Richmond Brook, Seddon, aecompanied by their niece, Miss June Ward, have returned from a visit to England and Ireland.
