'QUAKE IN CALIFORNIA

During an earthquake this mofning a gentle rocking mot-ion was felt at inland points, but it was fairly sharp on the sea eoast. The 'quake was felt throughout southern California, but no damage and no injuries have so far been re« ported. At San Diego it was quite sharp, and swayed a downtown office building.
