A ohemist gave evidence that the. deoeased 011 the morning . of the tragedy bought an ounoe of prussic acid, declaring he wanted to kill a dog. Bits of the poison, bottle were 'n ^^e burnt car. , Coroner pointed out that Marshall's financial affairs were very involved and niight' have caused his mind to give way. Apparently Marshall shot his wife, poured1 petrol over her and then inside the car. a pplied the light, and swallowed the prussic aoid.
