ASSOCIATION
{Trims Association.]
CHRISTCHURCH, Otffe. 12. The Canterbury Division of the British Medical Association hats passed the following resolution: — "That this division urges the Council of the Medical Association to proteßi against such an important measure as the s Social Hygiene Bill being hurried through Parliament before the people have had time to consider it. This meeting considers that the Bill, as drawn up, is pandering to tho prurient propensities of the public, also that without compulsory confidential notification the Bill will be of no avail; further, that the Public Health Department and the medical profession, instead of a lay board, should have control of thes* diseases."
