DESTRUCTION BY FIRE.

AUCKLAND, Oct. 12. The Fapakura Hotel was destroyed by fire this morning. Tho inmates got out with difficulty. Nothing was saved. Wilson's blacksmith's shop adjoining was also damaged. The building, owned by Hancock and Co., was insured for £1250. The stock insurance was not ascertainable.
