KAIKOURA ROAD BOARD.

A meeting of the Kaikonra Road Board was held on Monday, the 20th Sept. Present—Messrs Dickenson (Chair), Doddemeade, Close, and Aldridge. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Letters were read from Mr Sam McNab, re W. H. Lovell, and from the Kaikonra

It was resolved that Mr Lovell s application be postponed until next meeting. That notices be posted on all the black hoards to the effect that the provisions of the 97th clause, section 2, ot the lublic Works Act will be strictly enforced upon all the roads.
