GOOD TEMPLARY AT PICTON.

On Saturday evening last a meeting was held at Ficton under the auspices of the 1.0.G.T., at which D.D.G.W.C.T. Brother Earll, and Brothers Clung and Chinn, of Clenhcim, attended, for the purpose of instituting a Good Templars’ lodge in Ficton. After the principles of the Order had been explained by Bro. Earll and the Rev. Mr Riddell, several persons came forward and signified their intention of joining the Order. Eleven members were initiated and officers appointed. It was stated that at an adjourned meeting to he held on Thursday evening next, a great accession to the ranks would be assured. After the proceedings terminated Bros.
