BOROUGH SCHOOL SPORTS.

The Borough School Sports were held yssterday in Seymour Square and passed off most successfully, the young people entering heartily into the sport and seeming thoroughly to enjoy themselves. Great credit is due to Mr Alloway and to all who contributed to bring about this meeting, and we hope to see it repeated. It cannot have other than a good effect on the scholars, and on the school itself. It was a subject of general remark amongst the older visitors to the ground that a finer set of bright and happy looking children could not be found anywhere. Air C. A. Halllday, who officiated as judge found plenty of work to do, and discharged his by no means easy task to the entire satisfaction of the competitors for the several events. Air A. Clark made a very judicious and skilful handicapper, and to Air Alloway as starter and as a chief promoter of the affair the thanks of all who were present are due.
