Wednesday, April 7th. The usual meeting of the Board was held at ll a. m. The members present were—Geo. Dodson (Chairman), J. H. Redwood, C. O'Dwyer, and N. T. Pritchard. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. A petition was received from Alessrs R. G. Sadd, W. A. D. Sutherlad, R. Potter, and Win. The Board thought it would be desirable to pay a visit of inspection to the various protective works, in order to see what repairs were required before the winter set in, and it was resolved that the whole of the Board, accompanied by the Inspector, start from Mr Pritchard’s on Wednesday, the 14tli at 9 a.m.

The following accounts were passed and paid—H. Johnson, printing and advertising, L2 3s; Secretary L 5. The Board then adjourned.
