ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

A pretty marriage ceremony was celebrated at St. John s Baptist church, Northcote, on Thursday last, the parties being Miss Marion Eccles, only daughter of Mr and Mrs W. H. Eccles, Birkenhead, and Mr Fred. G. Bennett, of Kereone, eldest son of Mr F. H. Bennett, of Watford Herts, England. Rev. Lawrence Greer was the officiating minister. After the ceremony a largo party of friends adjourned to the bride’s parents’ residence for the wedding breakfast. The usual toasts were honored, and the wedding presents, which were numerous, were displayed. The happy couple have taken up their residence at Kereone. Mr F. G. Bennett, the bridegroom, besides serving in the great war, was for twelve years in the Imperial army, and served for two years and nine months with the rifle brigade in the South African campaign.
