TOWN BOARD ELECTIONS.

SViatasnata. The second poll in connection with the Matamata town district was held yesterday when there were only six candidates offering for five seats. It was probably on this account that the polling was not so heavy as at the first election. The three of the late board who offered their services were re-elected, with the addition of Messrs Kelso and Bell. The figures were: — J.Price 143 H. A. Kelso 135 J. F. Vosper 129 G. G.
