ON THE SCREEN.

Charlie Chaplin. On Saturday the patrons of the Town Hall pictures will have another opportunity of seeing the king of mirth-makers, the great Charlie Chaplin, in his latest work, " The Adventurer." Charlie has had many ups and downs in his film life and it is said that as a convict in this film he is better than his best. It is described as being a "mutual" of laughter and includes a great icecream stunt. There should be a packed house to see Charlie in his period of adversity. Supporting the film is a very attractive programme. Prices are as usual.
