A TRIBUTE.

Here, pass that bloomiu' paper, Pose You've read it through and through. "I've promised it to Charlie Payne; lor' blime, can't you wait ? " " Sid Stanley after him you know, .So close your bloourin' gate," "'l'll fight the lot," says Sid Harding " And I'll bet I'll have a win, And long Bill Strathern over there Will see a fair old spin." Then up jumps brave Les. Corbctt ; The hero of the bunch ; " Just pass that paper over here, Or I'll give you all a punch." The paper passes round the Hut, With velocity alarming The boys all read the news at last, Admidst cheers for good old Modesty forbids us from writing the name of the person for whom the cheers were. The manuscript, 'with a photo of ten district boys, may be seen at the " Kecord " office.
