TURANGA-O-MOANA.

Mrs H. E. Porritt and two sons are spending a short holiday in Auckland. Second-Lieut. T D. Maisey is now home on a short holiday with his parents at “Kenilworth.” A very enjoyable dance was held in the Turanga-o-moana hall on Friday evening, the sth April. A waltzing competition was held during the evening, which, attracted a large number of visitors the prizes being won by Miss Sommerville and Mr J. Orr. A sumptuous supper was served and dancing was continued until about 2 a.m. The music was supplied by Mr P. C. Ingham and was very satisfactory. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr F. J. Arnold.
