MASONIC INSTALLATION
At Tirau. There was a large attendance of brethren from adjoining lodges at the Masonic lodge on Thursday night, when the installation of Bro. E. 0. Arooore as W.M. and investiture of officers took place. In the absence of the Grand Master, M.W. Bro. 0. Nicholson, the ceremony was conduct ed by W. Bro. Leighton, G.D.C., assisted by W. Bros. 11. J. Clifford and A. G. Sanford. The following officers were invested :—D.M., W. Bro. J. W Anderson, P.M.; S.W., Bro. A. K. Weeks; J. W., Bro. R. G, South by ; Chaplain, W. Bro. W. 11. Allen, P.M.; Treasurer, AY. Bro. AV. Hetlierington, P.M.; Secretary, AY. Bro. F. Shannon, P.M.; S.D., Bro. R. Carruth ; J.D., Bro. G. G. Bell; D. of C., Bro. A. J. Tong; 1.G., Bro. AY. F. Bell; Auditor, Bro. N. D. Clifford ; S. Steward, Bro. AV. N. Brown ; Tyler, Bro. H. E. Nixon. At the conclusion of tho ceremony a banquet was held iu the., hall when the customary Loyal and Masonic toasts were honored.
