STOCK SALES.
JIOIUIINSVILLE. Sheep were yarded in considerable numbers at the Farmers’ Auctioneering company’s Morrinsvillc sale on Friday, but there was not a large Autry of cattle. Beef sold well and other lines were firmer, but sheep were easier. Fat steers made £ls 15s to £lB for an entry from Mr W. P. Cliepmell, fat cows £l2 12s Gd to £ls, the top price being secured by Mr A. H. Demler, lighter sorts £ll 2s to £l2 us, fat heifers £lO us, fresh-con-ditioned store cows £8 15s to £lO Is, fresh-eonditioned 3-year steers £l3 5s for an entry from Mr Griffeu, 2-year Jersey cross steers £8 10s, store cows £'G 4s to £7 lus, cows and calves £8 2s Gd to £9 10s, good calves (mixed sexes) £4 4s to £4 9s, others £2 IGs to £3 Is, heavy bulls 161 S ns t lighter sorts u.V to 12j‘ gns. A fc w dairy cows were offered, but none sold under the hummer. Sheep: Fat ewes 26s to 28s, fat lambs 20s to 2us, store lambs 13s lid, others 8s to l()s, full mouth ewes 13s to 15s, 2 tooth ewes 19s. Pigs: Porkers £2 us to £2 15s, slips 30s, weaners Gs to 17s Gd.
