The University of the South Pacific TUTORIAL ASSISTANT (Post 78/16) Applications are invited from suitably qualified graduates or diplomates for the post of Tutorial Assistant at the University Extension Centre in Apia, Western Samoa. The appointee will be responsible to the Centre Director for organising the Extension Studies programme at the Centre. This will include liaison with the Extension Studies Office in Suva, liaison with local tutors, the overall supervision of student progress, and the administrative aspects of the Extension Studies programme. Where appropriate, other areas of the Centre’s work will also be delegated by the Centre Director. Salary in accordance with qualification and experience on the scale: $F6340 x 288 — 7204. In addition, the University provides 15% gratuity, superannuation contribution, appointment allowance, partly furnished accommodation at maximum rental at present of 15% of salary. Appointments will be for a contract period of three years and will be renewable by mutual agreement.
