Mr W. A. Menzies, who resignod his position as handicapper to tho Victoria Racing Club in February, died in Melbourne early this month. In his day he raced horsos with success, was a member of tho committee of the Victoria Racing Club, also judge and handicapper, retiring from the last-named position owing to ill-health.
