At the weekly parade of tho Railway National Reserve, held on Thursday evening, the members of the engineering sections were instructed in bridge building by Lieutenants M’Connell and Wardle. The remainder attendod a lecture by Major Beuiley in the conference room of tho drill hall. Although thirty-one of its members have gone away in the Expeditionary Forces, sixty-throo were present on paraae. A challenge to fire a home-and-liomo match with tho Wellington Railway National Reserve was accepted, and it was decided to fire it in a fortnight’s time, as the team was engaged in the finals for Ar Miniature Rifle Association championship*
