We take the following from the A rout of the 28ih ult.:— The New Ministry —Altbougb it has not been authoritatively announced that the new Ministry has been ■ formed,-we believe we are quite sure in stat'ng- thai the '.chief difficulties have been overcome, and thai the arrangements are all but complete. The following list' may be considered nearly correct: —■ Chief Secretary ... William Nicholson. Attorney-General ... Henry Chapman. Treasurer ... ... John Goodman, Trade and Customs... Valentine Hellicar. Public Works ... Henry Miller. Surveyor-General ... Aisjr. F, A. Greeves. Solicitor-General ... Robert Mnleswnrth. We understand that Capt. Clarke and Capt. Pasley will continue to hold" ofiice, in their professional capacity, without seats in the House, and that their appointments .will not in future Be political. This we think is a vgry wise arrangement. Until the formation oJ the Ministry is 'officially promulgated, we refrain from further comment.— llaharton Mercury.
