Farland's Pictures.
• Farland's list of attractions for the week make an imposing array in this issue. To-nigiit a new " best-ever" Chaplin comedy will be linked with an intensely interesting romance with. the title "When love was blind." To-mor-row will see the production of one of the most read novels of the day in Rex Beach's "The Barrier," which is sure to draw a full house. The film story is said to be remarkably faithful to the original narrative and is quite as powerful a story as the original. For Friday a big double bill is due, a Clara Kimball Young night, featuring the great actress in two diverse and trying roles. In one she will appear in the delightful old favourite of Trilby and in the other she will appear as "The Foolish Virgin." The story deals with a young girl whose ideas of life are founded on the romantic works of fiction she is so fond of reading. She is deceived into marrying a man with criminal tendencies who becomes a burglar. Her efforts to redeem the man she loves lead to many intensely dramatic situations with a powerful climax.
