Shooting.

On Saturday afternoon the Levin Defence Rifle Club fired the first competition for the fourth series of trophies. The afternoon was fine but the light was very dull and a fairly strong wind blowing. It was not the best for shooting, particularly at the 1000 yards range. Scores: Ten shots and sighter at 1000 yds. J. Munro 41 — 41 J. Bertram 36 4 40 L. Ingram 33 7 40 W. R. Ingram 39 — 39 S. Butts 23 5 28 Next Saturday the Club will fire the second competition at 900 yards, 10 shots and sighter.
