Heuheu Kiriona, claim £18, costs i 32s' 6d ; G. Thompson v. G. Grutnwald, claim £2 13s 3d, costs 10s ; T. F. Gibson v. I. M. Foster, claim £4 Is 7d, costs 10s ; G. Milnes v. C. Strid, claim £17, costs 25s 6d ; E. Jukes v. >). Crowe, claim £72—judgment was given for possession by November Ist, or in default judgment to be entered for plaintiff for £72, costs £4 12s ;J. M. Milne v. J. Crowe, claim £40 16s, costs £2 19s, J, P. Ivess v. Rori Kingi, claim £1 7s, costs 10s. ADJOURNED, The defended action J. R. G. Stansell v. J. W. Perkins, claim £75, was adjourned till November Ist. DEFENDED CASES. . G. Thompson (Mr Park) v. H. Barnett, a claim for £4 2s 6d for plumbing work, Defendant disputed the claim on the ground that the work was done for the owner of the property of which defendant was lessee. After hearing the evidence judgment was given for the, amount claimed, with costs £i 18s. W. Pringle (Mr Park) claimed from E. H. McCormack, the sum of £6 7s, balance due on building. This claim was admitted by defendant, but a coun-ter-claim was put in for £18 sb. The counter-claim was based on alleged damage caused by non-completion of the work. After hearing the evidence, the Magistrate reduced the amount to £5, for which he gave judgment, with 5s costs.
