Football has taken on a fresih lease oif lil'e in Levin. For next Saturday an interesting game is likely. the contestants being Hua Moi (of Manakau) and Jjovin.

These fish mutiply rapidly and will thrive where trout cannot live. It has been proved that they 'are the ideal fish for lagoons and nest season they should be appearing in considerable numbers. THE BOATING CLUB. To complete the attractiveness of the laJce it is essential that a fliive boating club should be fored. Til© hefty youths of Levin, reinforced witib sturdy muscle from the Central Development Farm, should provide plenty of material on which to work. Now that tlie local 'authorities have decided to assist and encourage the club there should be no difficulty in keeping it going. The boats belonging to the old club have been carefully preserved by Mr Macintosh and these will be available as soon as they are required.
