Children’s Parade at Arrowtown
A parade of the school children led by Piper J. Henderson took place in Arrowtown on Wednesday morning, May 5. This parade was the opening function of the appeal for hungry children of Europe.
The children paraded throughout the Borough of Arrowtown. At the conclusion of the parade, Mr E. L. Thompson (Mayor) and Mr L. Whitwell (inspector of schools), both spoke to the children.
