WEATHER
CROMWELL The weather in Cromwell over the past week has been very unsettled, with heavy rain falling in and about the town early on Sunday morning. Snow covers the higher areas and frosts are becoming more numerous and severe. WANAKA The weather in Wanaka has been very pleasant and sunny. A cool breeze from the south on Wednesday evening brought a fall of 11 points of rain, and this was followed by two sharp frosts of 10 degrees. Heavy rain set in early on Sunday morning and continued throughout the day. By 4 p.m. 68 points of rain had fallen.
