After leaving school the late Miss Low followed the occupation of dressmaker and for many years worked for the late William Joseph Jenkins in the Arrowtown store, now known as ;the tea rooms.

She was an enthusiastic worker for St. Paul’s Anglican Church and also a regular attender, being also a member of the Glee Club and the amateur operatic society, showing superior theatrical talent.

She was very highly respected and had many friends and was always a very willing helper at all times for the good of the town. The funeral took place on Tuesday at Arrowtown and was attended by many relations and friends.

The Rev. Bianchi conducted the service at St. Paul’s Church and at the graveside. The pall bearers were Mr George Baker, nephew of deceased, Messrs E, C. Paterson, J. Dalrymple, W. H. Thompson, G. Ogilvie, and J. Fletcher.
