Rotary Elects Officers for the Year

Domestic matters took precedence at the weekly meeting of the Queenstown Rotary Club. President Robins gave a resume of the principles for which Rotary stood and supported his remarks by quotations from leading Rotarians. The chairman of the respective committees gave accounts of the activities of the club for the past year. This was followed by a quiz taken from the Rotary magazine. The chairman of the International Committee, Dr Anderson, made a strong case for the United Nations appeal to be launched soon. The 'following were elected officebearers for the ensuing year:—President, Mr B. A. Yercoe; vice-president, Mr W. Hayward; secretary, Mr C. M. Inglis.
