Queenstown Defeat Tarras In Pre-season Game
Another pre-season football match was played at Queenstown last Saturday when Queenstown defeated Tarras in a hard and even game. The scores were: —
Queenstown 13 (R. Anderson, field goal and two penalty goals; J. Spence, an unconverted try).
Tarras 12 (L. Pervis, one try; E. Colling, one* try; W. Cannan, one try; W. Trevathan, one penalty goal). The score was a fair indication of the play. The Vincent Sub-union competition will commence next Saturday when teams should have had ample time to settle into some good football.
