WANAKA HANDICAP PAIRS In a game for the Handicap Pairs Buttons played on the Wanaka Bowling green, the holders M. Miller and J. Perrow defeated H. Halliday and H. Harris 26—16. The champion of the Wanaka Club, J. Perrow was successful in winning the Champion of Champions match played at Cromwell last Saturday. CROMWELL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP In the fifth and final round of the Cromwell Bowling Club’s Singles Championship, Pearson beat Jelley to win the championship. Fourth round: First section. —E. Jelley beat Austin, Pearson beat Anderson. Second section. —Pearson beat Anderson, Austin beat Smith. Fifth round. —Pearson beat Austin, Pearson beat Jelley. Mr A. B. Pearson now being the Singles champion for the 191748 season. CROMWELL LADIES’ BOWLING * , CLUB Qongalton Fours At the Cromwell green last Thursday afternoon, in the Congalton Fours; Miss Templeton, Mrs Esson, Mrs Hansen and Mrs Lawrie, defeated the holders, Mrs Hosking, Mrs Clark, Mrs Campbell and Miss Cahill.
