QUEENSTOWN FOOTBALL CLUB
The annual general meeting of members of the Queenstown Football Club was held on March 18. The president, Mr L. G. Lynch, was in the chair. A motion of sympathy with the relatives of John Wilkinson and George Grant was passed, the members standing .as a mark of respect. The following office-bearers were elected: —Patron, Mr W. Edwards; president, Mr L. G. Lynch (re-elected); vice-presidents —Messrs E. R. Hopwood, A. Inglis, W. D. Warren, C. M. Inglis, J. Home, Stan Maude, A. H. Wheatley, A. Tripp, E. McNeill, C. Eamsdcn and A. Muirhcad; secretary, L. E. Forde, coaches—-Messrs J. G. Forbes, W. E. Robins; auditor, Mr E. Hopwood; selectors, Messrs J. G. Forbes, W. E. Robins and captain of team; referees, Messrs W. Hayward, L. Hanrahan, M. T. Robertson and W. E. Robins. The meeting unanimously agreed to affiliate with the Vincent Sub-union and Messrs C. M. Inglis and J. McDonald were elected to represent the club at the annual meeting of the Vincent County Sub-union at Cromwell on Monday next.
