Visiting Bowlers at Queenstown
Eight rinks composing members of the Waihopai Bowling Club, Invercargill came to Queenstown at the week-end and played a friendly match with the local club. The day was fine and the greens were very fast. The aggregate scores were Queenstown 192, Waihopai 187, showing a margin of five points in favour of the home side. Afternoon tea was provided at the kiosk. Mr W. H. Nelson, president of the Queenstown Club, thanked the visitors and Mr J. H, Tapper replied.
