CROMWELL WATER COMMITTEE

In the last issue of'the Lake County Mail a report was published dealing with a statement made by Cr -1. R. Laurie, chairman of the water committee of the Cromwell Borough Council and the action of Eipponvale settlers when the Pisa race was blocked.

Following this report a Eipponvale settler rang the “Mail’s’ representative and told him that a deputation

from the area was meeting the water committee that week and requested that the “Mail” be present.

Arrangements were made for a news coverage of this meeting but we regret to inform readers that the discussions were guarded from publication by the meeting being held “ in committee.”
