HOLIDAY NOTICE, 1947-48 The under-mentioned hours will bo observed at this office during the Christmas and New Year holidays:— POST OFFICE Thursday, December 25 (Christmas Day): Closed all day. No mails will be despatched or received. Friday, December 26 (Boxing Day): Close all day. Mails for Dunedin and Invercargill will close at 7.30 a.m. .and the street receivers will be cleared at the usual hour. The inward mails will not be sorted until the following morning. Thursday, January 1 (New Year’s Day): Closed all day. No mails will be despatched or received. Friday, January 2: Closed all day. Mails for Dunedin and Invercargill will close at 7.30 a.m. and the street receivers will be cleared at the usual hour. Inward mails will not be sorted until the following morning.
