The last of the centre fixtures for this year were played on the Cromwell green last Saturday in extremely hot weather. ■Results (Cromwell names first) werePearson 20, Taylor (Clyde) 12; Austin 14, Davidson (Clyde) 18; Storey 23, Harris (Clyde) 13; Jelley 24. Lopdell (Clyde) 29; Campbell 17, Nelson (Queenstown) 15; Anderson 19, Mclnnes (Queenstown) 25; McNamara 14, Tripp (Queenstown) 23. Total: Cromwell, three wins, four losses.
