Wanaka Bowlers Have Two Wins At Cromwell
Three rinks of Wanaka bowlers travelled to Cromwell on Saturday to play in the centre fixtures and won two games out of the three played. Results, Wanaka names first, skips only, are: —A. Walker 18, J. Smith 10; J. Perrow 20, Dr Austin 18; R. Stevenson 11, J. Storey 29. The first round of the Wanaka Bowling Championship Singles resulted as follows (senior players) : —A. C. Paterson 23, R. Stevenson 13; A. Campbell 20, W. Robertson 15; J. Perrow 18, H. Harris 9; F. hi orris 21, J. Dickie 12; W. Studholmc 17, R. Miller 11; T. Bridgcman 22, H. Halliday 1(5 ;■ B. Ballantyne, a bye. First found of the Men s Junior Singles Championship: —E. Richmond 22, M. Miller 9; J. Gardiner 25, J. Walsh 9; B. Templeton, a bye. In a game for the Junior Button, J. Gardiner defeated J. Walsh, 17 10.
