WANAKA WOMEN BOWLERS

Two rinks of Wanaka lady bowlers travelled to Roxburgh last Thursday to play an intercdub match and succeeded in winning both games. Results, Wanaka names first, skips only, were: —Mrs Studholme 25 Mrs Cooke 21, Mrs A. McKegg 23 Mrs Henderson 20. Results of the first round of the Womens Bowling Championship Singles were; —Miss Jopp 19 v. Mrs Studholme 14; Mrs Perrow 24 v. Mrs Paterson 9; Mrs Halliday 22 v. Mrs Anderson 15; Mrs Forth 17 v. Mrs McKegg 14; Mrs Morris won by default from Mrs Blanc; Mrs Robertson a bye.
