Ramblers Regain Burnett Shield

In a match played at the week-end between the Ramblers’ Club, of Queenstown, and Cromwell, the former eleven regained the Burnett Shield in no uncertain manner by winning with 13 runs and six wickets to spare. Cromwell batted first and compiled a total of 231 (Wishart 47, F. Wilson 65, J. Robertson 50). With slightly under one and a-half hours to go before time, Ramblers faced a formidable task, but replied with a total of 247 for 4 wickets. In a knock of 91 T. Luckie hit three sixes and 12 fours. Other good scores were; _p, v. McMillan 45, E. Anderson 41, L. Forde 42, and J. Munro 22.
