St. Andrew’s Church Reports Successful Credit for Year

A satisfactory credit was shown by the balance sheet of the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church presented at the annual meeting held in the Wanaka Hall last Friday. The Rev. J. Doig, of Cromwell, presided. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The annual report and balance sheet were presented, and adopted on the motion of Mr E. A. Richmond and seconded by Mr J, W. Haugh. Other reports were presented by the following members:—Session report, Mr A. R. McKay; Waaaka Ladies’ Guild, Mrs B, H. Umbers; Hawca Girls’ Auxiliary, Miss G. Pringle; Wanaka Bible Class, Mr W. C. Umbers; Sunday School reports, Miss M. Kane (Hawea), Mrs W. J. Ironside (Wanaka), Mrs D. Munro (Tarras); Cradle Roll, Mrs W. J. Ironside; P.W.M.U., Mrs E. A. Richmond; M.M.8.L., Mrs H. Sinclair. The following items were contributed during the evening:—Pianoforte solo, Miss P. Manson; recitations, Miss Dry-

den; bagpipe selection, Master L. Sinclair. , It was decided to extend a call to the Rev. R. L. Miller, Dunedin. The following committee was appointed to arrange this: —Mr L. R. Morris (Wanaka), Mr D. J. Munro (TarVas), Mr J. Haugh (Maungawera). The induction and ordination will he held at Hawea on December 12.
