“ Frtr You Alone,” based on the song of that title, is one of the greatest and most expensive musical dramas ever , made in England, and was produced at a cost of £250,000. It is built on similar lines to the lovely picture “I’ll Walk Beside You,” and features the charming young actress, Lesley Brook, whose fine acting endeared her to tens of thousands of New Zealanders. Charming entertainment, enriched by happily selected musical interludes, the story relates
a love affair between a naval officer and a parson’s daughter who feels herself bound to another man who hnq always loved her, and how eventually the obstacles are cleared from tneir path to happiness.
