TENNIS CLUB
Opening Day Results Members of the Gibbston Tennis Club were present at the opening of the Arrowtown Club’s season last week-end. Rain during tbe afternoon caused a cessation of play, and tbe following are tbe results: — Doubles L. Stapp and Miss Robinson defeated G. Nelson and Miss Small, W. Martin and Mrs Fletcher defeated A. Morris and D. Wilcox, B. Scott and Mrs Erridge defeated J. Henderson and Mrs Cowie, A. Miller and Miss Muir defeated V. Hanson and Mrs Henderson, W. Scott and G. Thompson defeated A. Bailey and Mrs Walker, ,K. Saunders and Miss I. Anderson defeated J. Scott and Mrs Shaw, Mr F. King and Miss Small defeated Mr Walker and Miss Scott, Mr A. Lee and Miss H. Summers defeated Mr M. Adams and Miss F. Hanson.
