WAKATIPU COLLIE CLUB
Mr G. H. Wardell presided over the annual meeting of the Wakatipu Collie 1 Club on Friday evening last when a good attendance of members gathered to arrange for the trials to be, held during the month of May, 1948. The president stated that the year had been successful in every way, the finance of the club being in a healthy state and the support of the public- was borne out by the very ready response to an appeal for prizes and donations. The trials held had been well up to standard but it was hoped that in the coming season larger entries would be made. The following officers were re-elected: Patrons, Mr Dickson Jardine, snr. and Dr W. A. Anderson; president, Air G. H. Wardell; vice-presidents, Messrs A. S. Robins and J. L. Small; secretary. Mr G. Jardine; committee, as in the previous vein - with power to add; auditor. Mr D. R. Rowe. Mr C. R. Gordon gave a very instructive address on the innoculation .of dogs.
